I am Marijana! I create photographs that bring out the soul, the emotion, the true smiles, and laughs. I strive to have my images tell a story, have a particular scenery, and most of all evoke some type of emotion. All people fascinate and inspire me, even the most mundane scene can be extraordinary when a human subject is placed in it.

I am a lover of light in all facets. All that we see is a reflection of light. Looking at everything in the world around me is just fascinating. Photography is my medium of choice when it comes to expressing my visions and ideas. Camera in hand is where I feel most comfortable. When I am behind the camera I am in my element, and I find tons of joy in it.
My artistic skills and compassionate, friendly nature is what I use to capture the true person. Creating the art and seizing those moments are what I enjoy spending my time doing. Though my main genre of choice is portraiture I do not limit myself to just one, I just want to create beautiful imagery in any category of photography.
I use natural light as well as artificial light to be creative with my images. My sessions will have a backdrop in nature or urban setting. I also have a small home studio to accommodate someone that may want a studio type portrait setting, and I can bring the studio to you. I do take a more creative, relaxed, and lifestyle approach to my photography.
Everyone is different that is the beauty of portraiture. I want your session experience to be unique, fun, relaxed and creative.
EDUCATION
My education was at the Academy of Art, Diablo Valley College, and recently finished a Certificate in Professional Photography at Solano Community College.
Life is about learning and knowledge is priceless so I will always continue to learn all I can about photography as it is my passion. .
